Features:

To trace route of underground cables.

Application:

Function-

For Pin-pointing cable fault in buried cables, the system is used to determine exact lay of the cable. It also identifies the required cable in the bunch of cables. The system is employed to pin-point a contact nature fault where surge wave system can not be used, detection of Live loaded cables can be accomplished successfully by using the system.

Audio Freq. Generator coupled to the cable directly generates concentric electromagnetic field around it over its entire length. The presence of the above field is detected by a highly selective and sensitive receiver with a search coil. Signal pattern at search coil offers depth measurement, location of joints and pin-pointing of contact nature fault. Signal Pattern received by a special probe facilitates identification of wanted cable among bunch of cables. The system successfully indicates presence of underground metallic utilities such as pipe lines and Live loaded cables.
